Watarrka Virtual Art Sale Fundraiser 2020

A Christmas collaboration

Alpitye Art Studio and Watarrka Foundation

This year, many Australians have done it tough, and this includes communities in Central Australia who lost a large amount of income due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Alpitye Art Studio is based in Alice Springs and specialises in traditional and contemporary Aboriginal artworks painted by independent Indigenous artists. The Studio has been no exception with both artists and their communities having been heavily affected this year. To learn more about the Alpitye Art Studio please see here.

This initiative aims to support local Aboriginal artists in Central Australia by providing them with a platform to promote and sell their work in the lead up to Christmas. In addition to supporting local artists, Aipitye Art Studio is generously donating 25% of the sale proceeds to the Watarrka Foundation.

We hope that our followers and the wider community can show their support by purchasing artwork through the Digital Art Fair to give to a loved one this Christmas.

Dentons Indigenous Art fundraiser

Please join us to celebrate indigenous art and culture, with a range of beautiful artworks available for any decor and at any budget. Many thanks to Dentons and the Watarrka foundation for this opportunity to showcase our works and contribute to the future education of indigenous children throughout central Australia.  We look forward to seeing you there.
